प्रख्यात गोंयचो कवी रघुनाथ विष्णु पंडित 06-04-1917 इसवेंत गोवाच्या रायबंदरांत जल्मलो. बापय विष्णुबाब आनी आवय रमाबाय. तो कोंकणींत कवन बोरोवन प्रख्यात जालां. ताणे प्राथमीक શિક્ષण गोवांत घेतलें आनी मेट्रिक्य्लेशन न्यू इंगलीष स्कूल पुणेंत घेतलें. उप्रांत बिएस्सी पदवी घेंवक फ़र्गुसन कॉलेजांत दाखल घेतलें. परंतु तीसर्या वर्सा तांणी बिएस्सी सोडली आनी इंगलीश कवितेंत चड रुच दिसून थंयच बि.ए शिकप जालें. 1961 इसवेंत गोवाक पोर्तुगीसां पासून सुटका मेळ्या उप्रांत अभूतपूर्व काम केलां. रघुनथ पंडितान मराठी भाशेंत साहित्य रचना केलां. रघुनाथ पंडीतान आपणेले बरपाक नव्य वास्तववाद शैली वापरले. तागेले कृतींत गोवा समाजांत चिड्डीले (दलित) वरगाचें चित्रण दिसता.
साहित्य कृती
रघुनाथ विष्णु पंडितान कोंकणी, मराठी आनी इंग्लीश भाशेंत साहित्य रचन केलां. मनशाचे वृत्ती – प्रवृत्तीचो सोद, सैम दर्शन, ध्येयवाद आनी स्वदेशभक्ती, प्रेमकविता, अध्यात्मिकताय, गोयचे अस्मितायेच्यो परी, सुभाशितात्मकताय, वाक्प्रचार आनी ओंपारी अशें विंगड विंगड विभागांत तांणी कोंकणी कृती रचयलां. तशेंच मराठी आनी इंगलीश भाशेंत Voices of Peace, The Moon Moon कविता रचयलां. कोंकणी गोड गोड काणियि बाग 1आनी 2, रामायण महाभारतांतल्यो कथा, (बालसाहित्य) आनी लेख गद्य विभागांत रचयलां. कोंकणींतल्यान रत्नंहार आनी इंगलिशांतल्यान गोअन पोएट्रीचेंय संपादन केलां. आनी स्त्री हृदय मराटी तोंडी साहित्य संपादन केलां. मराठी भाशेंत अणकार आनी कृती भा्रती नेमाळ्याचें सांपादन केलां. म्हजें इल्लेशें काळीज आयलेम तशें गायलें, उरतलें तें रूप धरतलें, चंद्रावळ, धर्तरेचें कवन, म्हजें उतर गावड्याचें(पाच कविता झेलो), ल्हारां (कविता झेलो) दर्या गाजेता (कन्नड- देवनागरी लिपी)कविता झेलो,
साधना
रघुनाथ पंडितान बरयिले कवनांचे पांच पुस्तकं एकच दीस मोकळीक केलां (26-01-1963). ताका भारत शासनाची “पद्मश्री” पदवी लाभलां (1982). ताणे बरयिलें दरियो गज़ोत पुस्तकाक 1975 वरसाचे साहित्य अकाडेमी प्रशस्ती लाभले. डा. एस.एम. ताडकोडकरान कवी रघुनाथ पंडितालें विशयार बरयिलें निबंध गोवा कोंकणी अकडेमीन परगट केलां. 1948 इसवेंत पंडितान काडिल्या महात्मा गाधीजींच्या छायाचित्रांक सुवर्ण पदक लाभलां. युनायटेड पोयेट्स लॉरिए्ट इंटरनेशनल हो अंतराश्ट्रीय ऑवार्ड(1967) आनी ताचो मानद सदस्यत्व(1968) इंटरनेशनल ऑकाडेमी ऑफ़ लीडरशिप चो डॉक्टर ऑफ़ लीडरशीप इन पोएट्री भोवमान फाव जाला(1969).इंटरनेशनल बयोग्रफिकल असोसियेशनाचो(इंगलॅंड) ऑनरेबल फ़ेलो म्हूण निवड(1971) साहित्य अकादेमीचे वांगडीपद (1983-84), इन्स्टिट्यूट ऑफ़ मिनेज़ेस ब्रगाझा संस्थे चो फ़ेलो म्हूण निवड(1990)
Raghunath Vishnu Pandit was a Goan poet born on 06-04-1917 in Raybandar, Goa. Vishnubab and Ramabai were his parents. He persued his primary education in Goa and Metriculation in new English School, in Pune. He Joined B.Sc in Ferguson College,in Pune. But He changed his stream to B.A English Literature in third year . He was best known and most celebrated for his vast poetic work in Konkani. Pandit also produced a significant body of work after the Liberation of Goa from Portuguese in 1961. He also wrote in Marathi. Raghunath Pandit has written in a neo-realist style demonstrating a marked concern for the downtrodden section of Goan society.
Literary Works
R.V.Pandit has written in 3 languages. His Konkani poetries include Manshache vrutti -pravruttiche sod, saim Darshan, Dhyeyavad Ani Swadesha Bhakti, Prema Kavita, Adhyatmikatay, Goenche asmitayechi pari, Subhashitatmakathaya, vakprachar ani ompari. God God Kaniyo(Part 1&2), Ramayan-Mahabharatantlyo Katha were konkani Bal Sahitya and othernkonkani articles were his prose. Marathi poems, translations and folksong collections, Voice of Peace, The Moon… The Moon!, My Goa and other poems were his English poems. Mhaje Illeshem Kalij, Ayalem Tashem Gelem,Uratalem Tem Roop Dharatalem, Chandraval, Dhartarenche Kavan, Mhajem Uttar Gavdyachem, Lharam, Mogache Avade, darya Gazota, Bhuragyale Jag were his collections of Konkani Poetry.
Achievements
His most noted achievements are the publication of five books of poetry on one day (26th January1963). He was honoured with Padmashree by Government of India(1982). His Daria gazota book bagged Sahitya Academy award in 1975. A monograph on Poet Raghunath Vishnu Pandit has been written by Dr. S.M. Tadkodkar was published by Goa Konkani Academy. He has bagged Gold medal for photo of Mahatma Gandhiji clicked by pandit (1948). United Poets Loriet International Award(1967), Doctor of Leadership in Poetry award from International Academy of Leadership (1969), Honourable fellow of International Biographical Association, elected as Fellow of Institute Of Menzes Braganza(1990) and Sahitya Academy (1983-84)
