The new website of Vishwa Konkani Kendra was upgraded and expanded to deliver the multi-dimensional activities of Konkani literature, language education, youth training, scholarship, folk tradition and culture of Vishwa Konkani Kendra to fans spread across the world. The new website was inaugurated by Mr. Kudpi Jagadish Shenai, Senior Vice President of the Centre, and President of the Centre, C.A. Nandagopal Shenai called for good use of the website. Chethan Bhat’s team from VIBS demonstrated the website. Vice President Gilbert D’Souza, Secretary C. A. Giridhar Kamath, Treasurer Shri BR Bhat, Trustees Dr. K. Mohan Pai, Vatika Kamath, D Ramesh Nayak, K. B Kharvi, Narayana Nayak, Dr B, Devadasa Pai were present.

‘Vidyakalpaka’ Kshitij Camp -A Three Days Soft Skills Training Program for VIDYAKALPAKA SCHOLARS held From 28-06-2024 to 30-06-2024 at World Konkani Centre. Three days of a different Soft Skill Session was also held. Early morning Yoga session was conducted by Yogaguru Sri Gopalakrishna Delampady. On 27-06-2024 ‘My Entrepreneurial Journey’ Session was conducted by M Srinivas Bhat, Mahamaya Caterers, Mangaluru.
On 28-06-2024 Session bout ‘Life Skills’ was conducted by Smt Sumathi Pai Tonse. ‘Visualise your future’ Session conducted by Kudpi Vidya Shenoy, Preetham Kamath and Carol Pais. ‘Words of wise’ Session conducted by CA US Surendra Nayak and CA Nandagopal Shenoy.
On 29-06-2024 ‘Self Help is Game Changer’ Session was conducted by Entrepreneur CA Vandana Kini,Moodbidri. ‘Hobby is Pursuit of Passion’ Session was conducted by Software Engineer Prahalad Pai K, Mangaluru. There was a Virtual session by Sushil Padiyar, California about ‘Imparting Global perspective to GSB youth’.
On 30-06-2024 about ‘Parampara’- The Legacy Session was conducted by Rajendra Bhat K, National Trainer, JC, ‘Rangabhoomi and Life’ Session was conducted by famous Drama Artist Kasaragod Chinna & Team. Vidyakalpaka Kshitij training Programme was ended by Honouring Vidyakalpaka Student Saibrakatte Nandita Hegde for achieving 1st rank in MCom University Exam during the year 2024. View more.

He explained the activities of WKC in supporting Konkani students, CA Power 25 training programe, soft skill development initiative Kshamata training program, Vishwa Konkani YouTube channel and other initiatives in conservation of Konkani language and culture was also briefed on this occasion.
