वृत्ती जीवन
नारायण नायक पयलें बंटवाळांत व्यापार आनी सागोळी करून आशीलो. तो दक्षीण कन्नड जिल्हा व्यवसाय अभिवृद्धी सहकारी सोसायटीचो उपाध्यक्ष जावन आसल्लो. उप्रांत दक्षीण कन्नड जिल्हा केंद्र सह्कारी ब्यांकाचो अध्यक्ष जालो. 1968 इसवींत ब्यांकाचे व्यापारी वलयार सामाजीक नियंत्रण घालें. ताचो परिणाम जावन व्यवसाय, ल्हान कैगारिकोद्यम, आनी ल्हान हमीदार (ठेवणीदार) आनी इतर क्षेत्रांचे प्रतिनिधींक ब्यांकाचे निर्देशक मंडळींत मेळोवपाचे पद्धत जारी जालें. त्या वेळार सिंडिकेट ब्यांकान नारायण नायकाक व्यवसाय वलयाचो प्रतिनिधी जावन निर्देशक मंडळीक आपोवणे दिलें. तशें एक अवधीक तो सिंडिकेट ब्यांकाचो निर्देशक जावन आसल्लो.. तो कांग्रेस पक्षा थाकून विधान परिषताक चुनायीत जालो. सदाकाल तो दुबळे लोकांक मदत करतशीलो. तो साभार संघ-संस्थेंत अध्यक्ष जावन आसल्लो. सरळ, सौजन्य आनी सेवामनोभावान ताणे तागेले जीवन समाजाक आनी दीन दुर्बळेले सेवेक अर्पण केलां.
Bantwal Narayan Nayak was a landlord, Indian freedom fighter, Gandhian and politician from Bantwal. He was president of South Canara District Central Co-operative Bank (SCDCC Bank).
Career
Initially he had his own business and agricultural land at Bantwal. He became vice-president of South Kanara District Agricultural Development Co-operative Society. Later he became Director and President of SCDCC Bank. In 1968, Commercial banks had got a control over society. Because of that rule representatives of agriculturist, small scale industrialist, depositors and other field will become the member of administration. So Syndicate Bank invited Narayan Nayak to join as one of the directors of that bank and he served one term. He was elected as MLC from Congress Party. He was president for many organisations. Simple, kind hearted with helping nature, he has sacrificed his life to help the poor people.
